FRESNO, Calif. – Mauricio Troche has been promoted to national sales and marketing director of the Netafim USA landscape and turf division, announced Michael Dowgert, Netafim USA director of marketing.

Troche has more than 20 years of experience working in the landscape irrigation industry and will oversee Netafim’s nationwide staff of regional sales managers. He will direct all Netafim landscape and turf sales activities, interacting with distributorships, municipalities, landscape architects and contractors, and will also be responsible for initiating sales and marketing programs, new product introductions, education and training.

“Netafim USA is very pleased to announce Mauricio’s appointment,”
said Dowgert.

“His breadth of experience, industry and product knowledge, and his professional, personable manner will be outstanding assets as Netafim moves forward with expansion plans for innovative product development and enhanced market share,” Dowgert said.

Troche was most recently the Netafim California sales manager where he oversaw large distributor accounts and implemented a range of regional programs, including expanded customer training and product promotions, trade show activities and new channel marketing. Troche joined Netafim in 2010 as a District Sales Manager in southern California.

Prior to Netafim, Troche worked as an account manager for Rain Bird Corporation and as the San Diego area manager for Ewing Irrigation. He is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Business Administration/Marketing.
