BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Toro offers a complete range of commercial stand-on mowers in the Toro GrandStand product line.

The GrandStand range of stand-on mowers offers landscape contractors the following deck / engine options:

* 36” deck: 15 hp Kawasaki engine
* 40” deck: 15 hp Kawasaki engine
* 48” deck: 22 hp Kawasaki engine
* 52” deck: 23 hp Kawasaki engine
* 60” deck: 24 hp Kawasaki engine

Additionally, electronic fuel injection (EFI) models are available.

* 52” deck: 25 hp Kohler® Command EFI engine
* 60” deck: 27 hp Kohler Command EFI engine

“The compact models in the GrandStand line, with 36” and 40” decks, are ideal for residential applications, while the larger models like the 60” provide an attractive alternative to a zero-turn mower,” says Ross Hawley, marketing manager for Toro. “The 48” and 52” models round out the GrandStand line and provide great versatility to maximize productivity on a variety of property types.

“Contractors continue to be impressed with the performance and versatility of the GrandStand,” Hawley continues. “These units incorporate the mobility of a wide-area walk-behind and the quickness of zero-turn riding mowers. In fact, many contractors are choosing to stock their fleets with GrandStands alone, due to the portability and productivity of the machines.”

The Turbo Force deck is also incorporated into the GrandStand series of mowers. The durable Turbo Force deck is known for increasing performance in the field and providing a pristine after-cut appearance. The system boasts the toughest spindle assemblies on the market, and a high-strength seven-gauge steel deck shell. It also features an adjustable discharge baffle that allows the operator to fine-tune the cut in seconds to adapt to multiple grass conditions, the company said.

Engineered into every machine are a number of features to increase mower performance and decrease operator fatigue on inconsistent terrain. Traction is optimized with the GrandStand’s wide stance and wide-drive tires. Additionally, the contoured platform allows operators to easily adjust their body weight in accordance with slopes, and an anti-fatigue rubber mat with a non-slip surface is incorporated into the platform design to reduce vibration transmitted to the operator. The GrandStand mower also is engineered with a platform suspension system that offers a smooth ride to reduce operator fatigue. This suspension system is self-compensating to accommodate operators of differing weights.

Other benefits of the GrandStand line include increased visibility for safer operation, easy-to-use and responsive controls for a better operator experience and mowing rates of nearly 5.0 acres per hour.
