The active ingredient in DuPont Acelepryn insecticide was recognized by R&D Magazine as one of the most innovative ideas of 2008.

“We’re honored to be part of R&D Magazine’s efforts to showcase innovation in the scientific community with its R&D 100 Award,” said Mark Coffelt, global development manager for DuPont Professional Products. “This recognition is another indication of our commitment to putting breakthrough technology into the hands of today’s pest and green professionals.”

With one early application of Acelepryn, golf and turf professionals can control all 10 key turf-damaging white grub species in addition to surface-feeding insects such as cutworms, webworms, annual bluegrass weevils and billbugs. Acelepryn is designed to control these damaging pests on a wide range of sites including golf courses and commercial and residential turf sites as well as landscape ornamentals such as trees, shrubs, flowers, foliage plants and groundcovers.
