A webinar looking at the Affordable Health Care Act in the green industry will take place Tuesday, February 26, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm.

John Satagaj, ANLA's longtime small business tax and healthcare expert, will address what is included in the bill, the potential financial impact on our businesses and what choices business owners need to consider.

The webinar will look at what the magic number of 50 employees really means for a business. You will also learn how to calculate the trade-offs of employer penalty liability, nontaxable benefits to employees, and employees' individual mandate penalties.

Craig Regelbrugge and John Satagaj will be joined by Monte Lake and Lynn Jacquez, ANLA's labor and employment law counsel with CJ Lake LLC, to discuss the impact on businesses using seasonal, immigrant labor. The potential impact of this law on H-2A and H-2B workers and any new exposure for unauthorized workers will be addressed, as well.
