GIE+EXPO Show Coverage

Generac highlights what they will have for you to try out in the demo area at the 2013 GIE+EXPO.

| October 10, 2013

GIE+EXPO’s demo area gives you a chance to get hands-on experience with the latest and greatest from manufacturers, so you can test out different models and find what’s best for you. Generac Power Systems will be one of the companies showcasing their mowers. Lawn & Landscape caught up with them to find out more.

What will the company have to offer at the demo area this year?
Generac will provide an offer on both the residential OneWash power washer and XP line of portable generators. Generac developed the OneWash in order to provide consumers with variable pressure control to complete a variety of tasks, quickly changing pressure from 2000 to 3000 psi. The XP portable generators are engineered with contractors and construction sites in mind.

What makes the demo area such an important part of GIE+EXPO?

The demo area provides the attendees with opportunities to actually test the products for themselves. There are not many trade shows that provide that opportunity. It absolutely enhances their comfort level with the products and will be applied once they are back in their everyday line of work. It doesn’t matter if their everyday work is that of a salesperson, a service technician, or an end user of the equipment, the experience in the demo area will translate well.

How can an attendee best take advantage of his time at the demo area?
In order to fully take advantage of the demo area, I would recommend doing two things; set aside plenty of time to test the products and dress appropriately! Don’t save the demo area for the end of your visit because you never know what the weather will have in store.

What should he do to prepare?

Take inventory of all of the current equipment that is being used and/or sold. Review that current usage and jump on the special offers that exist at the show based upon your prior usage. There is a big opportunity to minimize your expenses over the coming year by preparing for the GIE+EXPO, and more specifically the opportunities that exist within the demo area.
