Farwest Show also hosting after-hours networking events

The show's first day ends with a happy hour event, while the second day concludes with a local pub crawl.

PORTLAND — The 2019 Farwest Show, set for August 21-23 in Portland, Oregon, will offer attendees and exhibitors a mix of fun and networking with two after-hours events.

Farwest Happy Hour, sponsored by Anderson Pots and Ball Seed Company, will take place at the close of the show’s first day, from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 21 in Lobby A in the Oregon Convention Center. Attendance is free to all Farwest participants. Beer and wine will be served from a no-host bar. Free appetizers will be provided. Exhibitor booth awards, including the Best of Show winner, will be presented during the event.

The Pub Crawl, sponsored by Leonard Adams Insurance and BioSafe Systems, will take place on Thursday, August 22 with three stops, starting at 5 p.m. at Spirit of 77 (500 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Portland). The first 50 people to Spirit of 77 will receive a free beverage. Light appetizers will be provided. The second stop takes place at Rontoms (600 E. Burnside St., Portland) at 7 p.m. The last stop on the crawl will be The Wurst (724 E. Burnside St., Portland) at 8:30 p.m.

The Farwest Show’s official “beer sherpas” will depart between 5:15-5:30 p.m. from the Show Office, (Room C120, Oregon Convention Center), to guide participants to Spirit of 77. The Pub Crawl is open and free to all Farwest participants.
