Wright adds 42-inch deck to Stander I series

The company added a new deck size to its Stander Intensity mowers to meet customer needs.

Wright Manufacturing responded to customer needs by adding a 42-inch deck to its Stander Intensity mower. The 42-inch deck is an AERO CORE, Wright’s deck design that features improved airflow, cut quality and anti-blow out features.

The 42-inch floating AERO CORE deck tilts side-to-side and front-to-back, allowing the mower deck to better follow the terrain contours. It also improves the weight distribution for better handling on hills. The deck height can be adjusted in quarter-inch increments and anti-scalp rollers automatically adjust the deck height to changes in terrain.

Recessed caster wheels reduce the turning radius. This feature, combined with the compact footprint and improved control and handling, allows operators to trim as they mow. The compact size also means more mowers will fit on a trailer.

Wright built the Stander I for operator comfort and easy step-off to pick up debris or in case of emergency. The floating stand-on platform absorbs rough terrain through elastopolymer bumpers that provide a dampened feel similar to a car. The wide stance provides better control and its forward slant makes the controls more ergonomic.

In addition to the new 42-inch deck, Stander I mowers are available with 36-inch, 48-inch and 52-inch deck sizes. Engines range from 18.5 to 22.1 horsepower.
