The Maine Landscape and Nursery Association promotes a standard of professionalism in the horticulture industry for the great state of Maine. MeLNA is a 25-year old non-profit organization governed by an executive committee. The committee strives to coordinate and implement efforts to promote, educate and represent its members. Members include: landscape designers and contractors, nurseries, garden centers, maintenance experts, turf growers, educators, researchers and other horticultural industry professionals. MeLNA sponsors educational programs for its membership which includes the Maine cerifed Landscape and Nursery Professional program. The certified professional has demonstrated a willingness to maintain a standard of excellence in the horticulture field. Look for the MCL and MCN after the professionals’ name. MeLNA also supports a charity work project each year, educational programs and workshops, and the Portland Flower Show - a premier horticultural event.
