Toro donates $10,000 to support relief efforts in Haiti

The company will match all employee contributions to the Red Cross through March 1.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – In response to the earthquake that devastated Haiti, the Toro Company announced that it would donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross International Response Fund to aid in the relief efforts. 
 
Additionally, the company will further its commitment by matching all employee contributions to the Red Cross through March 1, 2010. 
 
“The scope of the devastation is difficult to quantify or comprehend,” said Judson McNeil, president of The Toro Foundation. “At Toro, our thoughts go out to all those impacted by this disaster. We support the Red Cross in their immediate relief efforts, as well as the long-term recovery and rebuilding process.”
