Ariens Company becomes a Grainger supplier

The line-up will be available online at www.grainger.com by the end of May and listed in the upcoming 2011 Grainger catalog which will be distributed in February.

 
BRILLION, Wis. – Ariens Company has signed an agreement with W.W. Grainger, Inc., a supplier of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) products serving businesses and institutions in the U.S. 
 
The company will supply select outdoor power equipment products under four brand names. The line-up will be available online at www.grainger.com by the end of May and listed in the upcoming 2011 Grainger catalog which will be distributed in February.
 
“As a Grainger supplier, Ariens brands will have full access to customers in the facilities management segment that we do not currently reach through existing sales channels,” says Dan Ariens, president and CEO. “Ariens was able to assemble a complete line-up to meet the needs of facility managers with its portfolio of brands.”
 
Four Ariens Company brands will be made available as part of Grainger’s newly expanded Outdoor Equipment offering:
  • Ariens lawn products: Select Ariens models including Zoom XL and Max Zoom zero-turn mowers, 21-inch walk-behind mowers, power brushes and log splitters.
  • Ariens Sno-Thro products: Select Ariens Sno-Thro units including two models from each series (Compact, Deluxe and Pro).
  • EverRide lawn products: zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers and pro-walk mowers.
  • Parker debris maintenance products: Litter vacuums and a turf sweeper model which have been in the Grainger catalog previously.
Grainger reaches 1.8 million MRO customers and claims 250,000 customer contacts per day. The company also distributes 2.3 million copies of the well-known 4,000-page Grainger catalog.
