Mean Green Mowers unveiled the newest mower in their line of electric equipment Wednesday at GIE+EXPO.

The ReVolt is a wide area commercial walk-behind mower available in 48- or 52-inch deck sizes. Users have the option for up to two Green Monster battery packs to ensure the mower lasts for a full day of work.

The battery pack is located 8 inches from the ground to provide a low center of gravity, enabling the mower to take on slopes easier. The all-electric mower can reach speeds of 7 mph and weighs between 635 and 760 pounds. The mower is made of the same aluminum steel found on other Mean Green equipment.

Joe Conrad, owner of Mean Green, said the company’s goal has always been to challenge the traditional. This goal lead Mean Green to adopt a new slogan: Leading the electric mower revolution.

“Traditions are great in some cases,” he said. “But tradition doesn’t belong in innovation.”
