SAN JOSE, Calif. – Jensen Landscape Services' Sacramento Branch (formerly Huppe Landscape Company), a subsidiary of Jensen Corporate Holdings, was recognized by the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery for the 2010 Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP).
Businesses and nonprofit organizations were evaluated individually based on reported waste prevention, recycling and composting, procurement, and educational activities. A total of 285 awards were given and Huppe was honored for the sixth straight year with this notable award and is acknowledged both locally and statewide.
Huppe Landscape Company joined Jensen Corporate Holdings, Inc., in December 2008 and later was rebranded Jensen Landscape Services. Together, as a united company, both share the same vision and continue to strive towards excellence. The WRAP Award is just one of many awards under Jensen's belt.
The Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) has been recognizing California business waste reduction efforts since 1993, and CalRecycle is the state's leading authority on recycling and waste reduction. More information can be found by visiting www.calrecycle.ca.gov.
