SavATree expands in Virginia through merger

The company acquired Thrive, Plant Health Care Solutions.

SavATree has merged with Sterling, Virginia-based Thrive, Plant Health Care Solutions, further expanding SavATree's presence in Virginia.

“What drew me to SavATree was the company's expertise, sustainable services and dedication to providing exceptional customer service,” said Ron Rubin, who founded Thrive in 2003. “By sharing similar philosophies and values, I know our clients will continue to enjoy outstanding service and our employees will continue to be treated to exceptional support and benefits.”

SavATree CEO Daniel van Starrenburg, said, “The integration of the Sterling, Virginia, office, located between our Rockville, Maryland and Springfield, Virginia, branches, provides expanded capabilities that will enable faster and more efficient servicing of our clients.”

Thrive employs 26 people and all will be retained.
