ORANGE, Calif. – Village Nurseries has redesigned its website (www.villagenurseries.com) specifically to serve as a comprehensive resource for landscape professionals. All content – including the plant library – is now searchable for easier and faster navigation.
“Many wholesale nurseries were devastated by the recent recession.”
The site’s improved search function also enables professional landscapers to quickly find credit applications, a prelim form and a popular calculating tool to determine the number of plants required in a square-foot area for installers, as well as business tools and interactive maps for locating and contacting wholesale and retail sales representatives.
The expanded plant library offers a listing of available plants including detailed descriptions with photos and their characteristics.
The newly-created Resources for Landscape Designers & Architects section provides an Idea Gallery and Useful Links and Information with ongoing articles on industry trends and issues, as well as a revamped section featuring tools for landscape architects and designers.
An enhanced Availabilities page showcases the most recent additions to plant offerings while displaying Village Nurseries’ 300 newly added plants.
A Wholesale Services menu directs professionals to Village Nurseries’ key strategic partners: Monrovia, Anthony Tesselaar Plants, Plant Haven and Sunset Western Garden Collection.
Additional sections include New Introductions, Plant Collections, What’s Growing Today and a guide to Village Nurseries’ Landscape Centers.
“Many wholesale nurseries were devastated by the recent recession,” said David House, CEO of Village Nurseries. “Fortunately we were able to tighten our belts and emerge stronger. Today, the industry is recovering and we’re expanding, hiring new employees and incorporating the recently purchased Miramar Wholesale Nurseries in San Diego. Our new website redesign reflects this growth and our dedication to providing landscape professionals with superior products and service.”
