Company is looking for new green ideas

| June 6, 2012

Ball Horticultural and EdisonNation.com are teaming up to find horticulture products and systems that encourage sustainable, responsible greenhouse and nursery production.

Through July 16, inventive gardeners and professional growers can submit their invention ideas at EdisonNation.com/BallHorticultural. Ideas can be anything from innovative new packaging to commercial production equipment, as long as the idea promotes environmental sustainability.

Edison Nation will review all of the ideas, including market research and design, understanding the intellectual property space and benchmarking the idea against the industry and possible competition. Edison will then present the top ideas to the Ball Horticulture team.

Ideas selected by Ball will be licensed, developed and brought to market. Inventors will receive a $2,500 minimum advance on 20 years percentage of sales or buyout. Edison National will split the royalties 50/50 with the inventor on the products selected. Royalties will vary based on the product.
