| August 9, 2012

Intrinsic Perennial Gardens Inc. announces the introduction of a new Helianthus: Helianthus maximilliani ‘September Sun’.

This form of Maximilian’s Sunflower was selected for its shorter stature of 5- to 6-feet tall stems along with a slightly earlier bloom time. Intrinsic Perennial Gardens says it reliably blooms in September before the end of the season and in conjuntion with most Aster and Big Bluestems, and other tall fall grasses like Panicum and Miscanthus.
