Proptek is pleased to announce that Mike Proffitt has joined the company and will be its representative in the states of California, Arizona and Nevada. Mike is located in Chino Hills, Calif. and has over 34 years of “hands-on” nursery experience.  Mike is very familiar with the bedding plant, tree and shrub, and woody ornamental sectors of the nursery business.  He has been involved with the propagation in all of these and understands the importance of having the highest quality liner.  A healthy young plant equates to a stronger, faster growing plant as it is readied for sales, being transferred into a larger container, or planted into the natural landscape.

Mike has been involved with California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers and the Nursery Growers Association throughout his career having served on many state and local boards of CANGC.  In 1999 he served as the state VP of CANGC and in 2002 was the Executive Grower Member Director.  In 2003 he was President of NGA.  He currently is a member of both of these associations.
