Hal Einarsson of Trackwell ADS, the U.S. subsidiary of Iceland-based TrackWell, has recommended the appointment of Tom Lemke to the position of President & CEO and the board has approved this recommendation.

“I am very excited to be able to concentrate on the advancement of the Trackwell Fleet suite of products and have Lemke at the helm,” said Mr. Einarsson, COO/CTO.  “We have made significant advancements in our suite of products and this appointment will allow me to concentrate on completing my long time vision for new and unique solutions.”

“We are excited to have Mr. Lemke in this leadership role as he brings over 20 years of highly successful experience in the fleet management industry”, said Jón Ingi Björnsson, COB of Trackwell ADS.

“Today’s economic climate creates the right set of conditions for us to capitalize on our unique business offering,” said Lemke.  “Fleets are seeking products with a lower capital investment while providing a feature-rich solution with a scalable offering. We know that each fleet has special needs that can’t be met by a one-size-fits-all solution.  Our company is quickly growing our North American market share and we are expanding to meet the demand. Our goal is not to be just another vendor of fleet management systems; it is to be the first choice.”

The company is also pleased to announce that Jim Bliss has accepted the position of Customer Service Manager.

“Jim brings nearly 30 years of experience serving customers that will further enhance our Customer Service Program,” said Lemke. “Providing excellent service to our customers is our number one priority, especially in today’s technology-driven transportation industry.  Jim will also provide expertise in the Product Assembly, Final Testing, and Field Service Departments.”

Lemke concluded, “These changes are just the first steps in securing a significant percentage of the North American market during the next 24 months.”
