Angela Mekjian will be part of the project management team.

Breeders’ agent PlantHaven International has added Angela Mekjian as a member of its project management team with responsibility for PlantHaven’s annuals and perennials.

“My colleagues and I are delighted that Angela is joining us at this exciting time for PlantHaven and our clients,” said PlantHaven President, Geoff Needham. “Angela has proven expertise in bringing exceptional breeding programs to our industry’s most progressive growers and marketers.”

Mekjian holds a Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture from California Polytechnic State University and has experience in all aspects of the plant introduction business in the USA, Europe and Asia. She will be concentrating on PlantHaven’s high-volume international breeding programs including Whetman Dianthus; Penhow Alonsoa, Diascia, and Nemesia; and Realflor Gaillardias and Leucanthemums.
