Recently, Pinnacle Rubber Mulch was used in a new application. The mulch served as an important part of the set on the Dec. 16, episode of “Sanctuary,” a science fiction-fantasy television series that airs on the Syfy network. The episode, titled “The Depths,” used 2,000 pounds of Redwood-colored Pinnacle Rubber Mulch to create an eerie-looking ground in an underground cave scene.

“Pinnacle Rubber Mulch is used as decorative landscaping cover for parks and homes and as safety surfacing for playgrounds across the country, but this is the first time it’s been used to create part of a set for a popular TV series,” said Brad Pittam, general manager, LTR Products. “We’re excited that our Pinnacle Rubber Mulch has made its Syfy debut.”
