CHANDLER, Ariz..− Horizon Distributors announced its partnership with The New American Landscape Channel to produce a series of BizPro educational modules, an online resource housed on www.horizononline.com that provides tools, tips and training videos to help landscape professionals grow their businesses and increase profits

“Our BizPro series has offered a variety of valuable information and solutions to our landscape customers over the years,” said Dan Puthuff, Director, Construction Channel Markets for Horizon. “When we sat down to review how our BizPro tutorials would evolve, it made sense to work with another industry leader to ensure our content was timely, entertaining, and most importantly, informative.”

Horizon turned to The New American Landscape Channel to augment the variety of content available through the BizPro tutorials.

“We are excited to partner with Horizon and www.horizononline.com, to produce content that provides landscapers an edge over the competition,” said Gieo Pensoneault, CEO and host of The New American Landscape Channel. “Online video training is the most effective way for green industry professionals to gain the knowledge they need to become better equipped to serve their customers.”

With Horizon’s new series of BizPro Lessons, even more valuable content is offered to green industry pros to learn about topics ranging from landscaping and irrigation to ways to increase income and revenue streams by diversifying within their service offerings. Topics available include:

• How to build more profit from water feature installations
• How to install pondless water features
• Installing the EZ Flow French Drain alternative from NDS
• How to get green, healthy turf all season long with one fertilizer application

The on-demand availability allows busy green industry pros a way to learn at their own pace, at a time most convenient to their schedules. The series is also a part of Horizon’s Business Builder Program, which also includes Landscape Maintenance Guide, the Amigo Referral Program, and Horizon’s Marketing ToolKit.

“At Horizon, we have a long history of serving irrigation, landscape and turf care professionals,” said Puthuff. “Our partnership with The New Landscape Channel will help enhance the BizPro series and prove itself to be another way we’re working to help our customers grow their business.”
