GAITHERSBURG, Md. – The Brickman Group named Eric Robinson to its corporate leadership team as senior vice president of human resources. Robinson will work with the executive team to continue to improve Brickman’s human resources capabilities.

“We are excited to welcome Eric to the Brickman team,” said Mark Hjelle, president. “We are confident he will be a business-focused leader who will help us continue to develop Brickman’s capability to recruit, train and develop the talent we need to fuel continuous improvement and world class customer service.”

Robinson comes to Brickman with 20 years of human resources leadership experience. Immediately prior to joining Brickman, he was leading the human resources function for Mohawk Industries Commercial and International businesses in Atlanta, where he was responsible for leading talent management, including succession planning, Mohawk University development and talent acquisition for growth.

Prior to Mohawk, Robinson spent nearly 10 years as the vice president of human resources for Pulte Homes.  He served as a key business partner for a $6 billion business where he led the human resources strategy development for key areas such as talent management, training and leadership development.

“What excites me about coming to Brickman is it’s an organization that is continuing to evolve and grow despite the challenging economic climate,” Robinson says. “I’m looking forward to helping Brickman leverage their talent and capabilities to continue that growth in the future.

“As a service business, our success is based on our people. And how effective our people are is dependent on making sure we have the right people in the right places, and that they have the knowledge and skills they need to perform.”

Robinson holds a BBA in Human Resources Management from Ohio University, serves as a Human Resource Leadership Forum Board Member and is actively involved in the community.

Married with two children, he and his family will be relocating from Suwanee, Ga., near Atlanta, to Maryland where he will work at the Gaithersburg corporate office.
