Bartlett Tree Experts make acquisitions

Industry News

The additions allow Bartlett to expand presence in South Carolina and Texas.

Stamford, Conn. – As part of its growth efforts, Bartlett Tree Experts continually evaluates opportunities to enter new markets and build relationships with companies that share their mission of protecting trees and shrubs in our environment. To that end, the company has acquired the business operations of Preservation Tree Care in Beaufort, S.C. and Native Son Landscape & Tree Care in Wimberley, Texas.

The addition of a new location in Beaufort complements the company’s two existing South Carolina offices in Charleston and Hilton Head. The acquisition in Texas enables the company to further expand its existing presence in the San Marcos area. Staff from both acquired companies will be joining Bartlett to provide seamless service to customers and help ensure a smooth transition.

“Thanks to a strong business model that translates to different regions of the country, we continue to have success with acquisitions,” said Robert A. Bartlett Jr., chairman of Bartlett Tree Experts.  “We select those firms that can be best integrated into our culture and provide acquired employees great benefits, career development and training opportunities.”
