The March 16 webinar will show attendees how to use the new DeckWorks design software.

| March 8, 2011

Nemetschek Vectorworks and Trex Co. will present a free webinar to demonstrate the benefits of the new DeckWorks design software. Used in conjunction with the 2011 version of Vectorworks plus Renderworks software, the DeckWorks software plug-in from Trex is a deck design program for contractors, designers and landscape architects that allows professionals to create photorealistic 3D renderings of everything from deck structures to furniture layouts to landscaping plans.

Webinar attendees will learn how to use this plug-in to quickly design custom decks that bring clients’ visions to life, distinguish their work from the competition and increase profitability. DeckWorks allows the user to budget and generate material lists, construction Gantt charts and professional proposals.

The webinar will be presented by Lee Barwick, president of DesignWorks Company (the distributor of DeckWorks), Mel Karlson, senior marketing manager for Trex, and Paul Lafrance, founder and CEO of Cutting Edge Construction and Design. Lafrance is the host of the new HGTV reality television show “Decked Out,” which is set to air later this year. His work has also been featured on the HGTV programs “Holmes on Holmes” and “Holmes Inspection.”

The webinar will happen Wednesday, March 16 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EDT
