He joins the firm as irrigation and water management director for the Southeast division.

Atlanta – Brickman announced that Russel (Russ) P. Prophit has joined the firm as irrigation and water management director for the Southeast division.

Prophit has more than 32 years of experience in the green industry and holds multiple Irrigation Association certifications, including landscape water manager, landscape irrigation design with specialties in residential and commercial irrigation design, irrigation contracting and landscape irrigation auditing. Prophit will be directly involved in the evaluation, operation, management and improvement of existing and new clients irrigation systems to achieve the highest level of water conservation possible.
 
Recent issues related to the availability of water for landscapes in recent years have propelled water conservation to the forefront of the green industry focus. Adding Prophit’s knowledge and expertise to Brickman’s team will help move client’s properties into efficient and water conserving landscapes and help reduce demands on a shrinking water supply.
