SavATree, a provider of tree, shrub and lawn care services, announced Monday a merger with Town & Country Tree Experts.

SavATree has been serving customers throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions for more than 25 years and now, due to this recent merger, has expanded their market share in New Jersey. The company holds the accreditation from the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). The TCIA accreditation program is a stringent and documented company analysis built on the foundation of ethics, quality and consumer confidence, and is designed to protect consumers.

"The decision to entrust our business to SavATree was based on their excellent reputation, high standards and customer-centric focus," said Don Smith, co-founder of Town & Country Tree Experts. Curt Sumner, Town and Country's other co-founder added, "We know the SavATree team will work with us to continue our high standards for tree care."

As a result of this merger, customers of Town & Country Tree Experts will now have access to a more comprehensive service offering including lawn care and an enhanced plant health care program – all of which have been designed to incorporate the latest science in arboriculture and agronomy.

"We are thrilled to partner with a company that, like us, understands customer satisfaction is pinnacle,” said Daniel van Starrenburg, president of SavATree. “We are very happy to have joined forces and look forward to working with Don Smith and Curt Sumner during this transition.”

SavATree has been busy in the merger and acquisition department in recent months. In November, the acquisition of DeerTech was complete, followed by mergers with Autumn Tree Care Experts and Save A Tree.

"Our reputation and track record make SavATree an ideal company for others looking to join forces," said van Starrenburg. "We have successfully integrated a number of businesses and are always diligent to understand what made these companies successful and then leverage those capabilities to make us both better."
