Ledden Palimeno Landscape Co. took home Best in Show for the EP Henry Corp. exhibit at the 2012 Philadelphia International Flower Show

Ledden Palimeno has designed and built 11 exhibits for EP Henry and has won four Best in Show awards, said Joe Palimeno, president and landscape designer at the Woodbury, N.J. firm.

‘Ohana Ho’olaule’a (family celebration) was the theme and the exhibit celebrated outdoor living at its finest. Functional usable outdoor spaces that offer privacy and a place to escape to never go out of style, said Palimeno. Roofed structures-covered patios are popular as well, offering the feel of an outdoor room that provides comfort from the sun.

“The Flower Show puts us in front of 275,000 visitors over an 8 day period to showcase all the possibilities of what you can have in your own backyard,” Palimeno said.

In addition to the EP Henry exhibit in Philadelphia, Ledden Palimeno also designed and built two exhibits for Subaru of America, the premier sponsor of the Philadelphia International Flower Show. While the Philadelphia show was being installed, a crew built an exhibit at the North West Flower and Garden Show in Seattle.

“Four exhibits in three weeks and 10,000 miles of flying in between to manage both events is what it took to pull off over 5,000 square feet of living exhibit space,” Palimeno said. “We are looking forward to spring and all signs are pointing to a very good season ahead with the responses we have received from the show and our clients that have seen the show.”
