Lo & Behold 'Purple Haze' Butterfly Bush, a new buddleia from Proven Winners ColorChoice, was recently approved for sale in the state of Oregon.  ‘Purple Haze’ was certified by The Oregon Department of Agriculture for meeting Oregon's standards for sterility.

'Purple Haze' features horizontal branches with an abundance of dark purple-blue flowers. The flowers radiate outward and downward like a pinwheel, and are continuous from mid-summer to frost. Its low spreading habit with feathery, deep green leaves make it an excellent ground covering plant.

This is a sterile variety that does not produce unwanted seedlings.

Hardiness:  USDA Zone 5 – treat like a perennial in the north
Size:  24"-36"
Breeder:  Developed by Dr. Dennis Werner of NC State University.
