OTF Conference keynote speaker announced

Jerry Lucas will give the address at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center.

The Ohio Turfgrass Foundation and keynote address presenting partner Syngenta, are pleased to announce that Jerry Lucas will be the keynote speaker at the 2014 OTF Conference & Show and OSU Green Industry Short Course.

Mr. Lucas, a native of Middletown, Ohio, has achieved success as a basketball player at all levels and also as a best selling author and memory expert. His resume includes:

• 1960 NCAA Championship as an Ohio State Buckeye
• 1960 Olympic Gold Medalist
• 1973 NBA Championship with the New York Knicks
• Seven-time NBA All-Star
• Two-time inductee to the Basketball Hall of Fame (once for his individual career and also as a member of the 1960 Olympic team)
• Was named one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history
• Named to Sports Illustrated’s five-man College All-Century Team in 1999

Following his legendary basketball career, Mr. Lucas assumed the role of an educator and memory expert. He has authored and/or co-authored several best selling books including, The Memory Book and Ready, Set, Remember. His memory system has been developed and is the basis of programs within multiple school systems.

The Keynote Address presented by Syngenta will take place during the Awards, Scholarships and Keynote Presentation on Wednesday, December 10th at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Sandusky, Ohio. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm.
