W.R. Scott Equipment Ltd. has joined the Takeuchi dealer network in North America.

has announced W.R. Scott Equipment Ltd. as the latest addition to the Takeuchi dealer network in North America. As a full service equipment distributor, W.R. Scott will represent the full line of Takeuchi compact earthmoving equipment.

W.R. Scott Equipment Ltd. was founded by W.R. Scott, when he opened the first branch in Edmonton, Alberta in 1967. The 40 year old family-owned company has expanded over the years into three branch locations; Edmonton, Airdrie/Calgary, and Red Deer. Specializing in the sales, rental and service of compact equipment, W.R. Scott Equipment Ltd. will expand their current equipment offering with the full Takeuchi line.

“There is a significant amount of growth happening in the Canadian market right now, and W.R. Scott Equipment Ltd. has a proven track record of success with compact equipment,” said John Vranches, Takeuchi national sales manager. “We are thrilled to be a part of their business, and we welcome W.R. Takeuchi is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of compact track loaders, compact excavators and compact wheel loaders.
