BOSTON – New England Grows will celebrate its 20th anniversary this coming February. The show is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 1 - Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

"Above & Beyond!" is the theme. Thirty ground-breaking educational seminars have been planned and booth sales are already exceeding 2011 levels.

The speaker lineup includes well-known experts Tony Avent, Lew French, Chris Heiler, Dan Kittredge, Brook Klausing, Rebecca McMackin, David Mellor, James Urban, Claudia West and many other trendsetting presenters. They will address a variety of horticultural and design topics like living architecture, water management solutions, and biological controls as well as important business-growth ideas such as inbound marketing, selling in a challenging economy, and social media strategies.

"In 1992, New England Grows started as a spark of an idea – to create a forum where everyone in the local green industry gathers to learn what's new, to share information, and to make connections," said New England Grows' president Richard Clark of Clark Farms in Wakefield, R.I. "Twenty years and millions of dollars in industry contributions later, New England Grows is one of the greatest champions of innovation in today's horticulture industry. When you participate in New England Grows, you support your local green industry and I urge everyone to be a part of it in 2012."

For the second year, a special Garden Center Success seminar will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1. This daylong program, aimed directly at today's independent garden center, received rave reviews last year.

At New England Grows, green industry professionals can obtain many professional continuing education (CEU) credits under one roof with recertification opportunities for Pesticide Licenses, NOFA, APLD, LA CES, CTSP, MCA, MCLP, and more.

Early registration goes through Jan. 16 and costs $45 for all three days. The early registration price drops to just $39 per person when four or more people from the same company register together.

New England Grows is an educational partnership between the New England Nursery Association, Massachusetts Arborists Association, Massachusetts Association of Landscape Professionals, Massachusetts Nursery & Landscape Association and its network includes more than 40 allied green industry organizations.
