Award-winning business coach and author Rory Sheehan will present on the topic at Landscape Ontario’s Expo 2011.
MILTON, Ont. – A successful business relies on closing the sale, overcoming objections and building value instead of dropping prices. Award-winning business coach and author Rory Sheehan will show how to best achieve that successful recipe in his interactive presentation Close More Business and Have Happy Clients: Breakfast and Networking Event, hosted by Landscape Ontario’s Designers Group.
The breakfast will be featured during Landscape Ontario’s Expo 2011 on Thursday, Oct. 20.
“Many designers can have difficulties finishing a sale, and this seminar will help teach how to properly communicate with clients, potential clients and even people who aren’t potential clients,” said Tony Lombardi, chairman of the Landscape Ontario Landscape Designers Sector Group and owner of Dr. Landscape. “This will give them additional tools to help them out and get landscape designers the sales they want.”
Rory Sheehan of Positive Strategies is touching thousands of people every year through his presentations and books. His unique and successful approach to achieving results has been featured on television and radio, and he has had several articles published in newspapers and magazines.
A confused mind always says ‘No’, and that confusion and negativity will often lead to unnecessary conflict. If you have ever struggled with closing business or dealing with difficult clients, Sheehan’s tried and tested system for moving beyond these challenges is for you. During this discussion, he will teach skills to build stronger relationships, and thus close more business deals.
“All the principles of sales are the same, whether you are selling heads of lettuce, BMWs or landscape design services,” Lombardi said. “You have to understand and target the correct market. If you are selling design services, you have to listen carefully to your client. With their goals in mind, your job as a designer is to translate the client’s vision into the design that will amaze them. This talk will be about creating a structure for effective marketing and dealing with clients appropriately.”
