Carlos Barron passed PLANET's Landscape Industry Certified Technician - Exterior exam

| September 7, 2012

The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) announced today that Carlos Barron, who is employed by Denison Landscaping, passed the Landscape Industry Certified Technician - Exterior exam. The test was offered through our partnership with the Landscape Contractors Association of MD/DC/VA.

This day-long, hands-on test challenges the candidate to use mental and physical ability under time constraints. Candidates must pass all the challenges in a selected specialty area such as Softscape Installation, Hardscape Installation, Turf Maintenance, Ornamental Maintenance or Irrigation. Carlos completed the Softscape Installation module.

The Professional Landcare Network offers six certification designations. Passing the tests required to achieve these designations demonstrates skill within the landscape and lawn care industries. The International Certification Council (ICC) has worked to align the PLANET certification program with national standards and follow a robust strategic planning initiative.
