The acquisition expands the pest management company into the Texas market.

Harvey L. Massey, chairman and CEO of Florida-based Massey Services has announced the purchase of Myers Services, a pest management firm headquartered in Dallas.

“We are very pleased to welcome Myers Services team members and customers to the Massey Services organization,” Massey said. “Our expansion into Texas with a company that has a similar company culture as our own provides us with an excellent opportunity for growth. Like Massey, Myers has established a strong customer base as a result of their commitment to quality service.”

Massey Services was founded in 1985 by Harvey L. Massey, who is a leading industry voice and a 49-year veteran of the pest management and landscape services industry. The company is currently the largest family-owned business in the pest management industry. In 2011, Massey was No. 22 in Lawn & Landscape's Top 100.

Tullius Partners represented and acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Myers Services in the sale.
