Pruning clinic to take place in December

Elliott Schaffer, certified arborist/horticulturist, will instruct the training sessions in Ohio.

The Ohio Landscape Association will present the Dormant Pruning Clinic on Dec. 1at Willoway Nurseries in Avon, Ohio and Dec. 7 at Willoway Nurseries in Hillard, Ohio area. The event is instructed by Elliott H. Schaffer, certified arborist/horticulturist, environmental horticultural services.

The event is a half-day, hands-on clinic and a timely-training opportunity to get back to the basics and learn the proper way to prune in time for winter and early spring.

This seminar will include a lecture as well as hands-on training.  Attendees will need to bring their own notepad and pen, hand pruning shears, a small pruning saw, and long handle lopping shears, and will need to dress appropriately for outdoor practical training.
