Joseph Barnett, who started with the company as a landscaper, received the promotion.

SAN FRANCISCO – Janet Moyer Landscaping (JML), a full service landscaping company in San Francisco devoted to addressing the unique challenges of urban gardens’ constraints, announced the promotion of Joseph Barnett to installation supervisor.

Barnett joined JML in 2010 as landscaper, and in his new position he will manage a landscaping team. Prior to JML, he served as a construction crew leader with Habitat for Humanity, Americorps in San Francisco. While there, he managed and taught a diverse group of volunteers how to apply various construction and carpentry tasks, conducted daily site safety orientations and performed residential construction and carpentry skills. Earlier he was a landscaper with Little Rock Land Design in Little Rock, Ark., where he designed and implemented landscape projects.

Barnett is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy. He is a resident of San Francisco.
