The California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) will present its 32nd Annual Landscape Industry Show Feb.1-2, 2012 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The theme of this year's show is titled: Back in the Game! Attendees will have the opportunity to experience technology, tools and industry resources to help them grow their business as the economy picks up steam again.

New to this year's show is the Technology Café where attendees can ask questions on the spot and learn about apps and new technology before buying them. Attendees can learn about LinkedIn from Kelly Dixon, Jibbigo, Sprinkler Times, Soil Web, the Landscaper's Companion, ProntoForms, Fleetmatics, Heartland's new Mobuyle payment system and more. Bamboo Pipeline will also be available to show attendees how the iPad can be used to make their business more efficient.

Another new addition to this year's show is Native Plant Bingo brought, sponsored by the California Native Plant Society, Norman's Nursery and the Theodore Payne Foundation. CLCA's Landscape Industry Show also features seminars including Introduction to Green Wall Systems, Design and Installation and Dirt – Can You Dig It? sponsored by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and Professional Selling Skills sponsored by Ewing Irrigation.  Other seminars include: water management techniques, marketing, sustainable practices, how to get paid in full during difficult times and much more. CLCA's Water Management Certification Workshop and test will also be available in both English and Spanish along with many other CEU opportunities. Also students can speak with some of the green industry's brightest and best about their future, and how work experience with the right firm can earn someone a 'Masters' in the green industry. This seminar titled the Why's and How's of Earning a Masters is free with a college ID.

Besides the excellent educational opportunities available, attendees have the opportunity to network, meet vendors and make excellent businesses connections. CLCA's Landscape Industry Show is free to those who register in advance and is $5 at the door for those who arrive the day of the show. Seminars are a bargain and begin at $40 with unlimited classes for $120. Attendees achieve an excellent return for their time as well as opportunities to grow.

Attendees come from all over California to learn about the latest and greatest products and technology the industry has to offer, pick up continuing education units, network with industry professionals, learn from interactive on-floor demonstrations and have fun. One of the things that makes this show unique is that is created from a volunteer committee of industry experts for industry experts. The show attracts landscape industry professionals including landscape contractors, architects, designers, irrigation specialists, arborists, concrete professionals, stone and erosion control experts and more.

Formerly residing in Long Beach and not to be confused with the Landscape Expo, CLCA's show is located in Los Angeles and has been in existence since 1980.
