Focal Point offers free marketing plans

The plans are a menu of options to look at when constructing your own marketing plan.

Many of you have downloaded and used our free marketing plans in the past. We have revised and added to all three plans to make them more user friendly. If you download the plans below, you'll see an Excel spreadsheet with two tabs. The second tab is the original calendar-based version of the marketing plan. The first tab is new, and is a "tactical view" - meaning that it focuses on the specific marketing efforts in tactical categories like Direct Response, Sales Presentation, and Ongoing Client Communication. We feel like the new tactical view is a simpler approach, and it will allow you to more easily pick and choose the tactics that work for your company.

We're also including a "cheat sheet" on Every Door Direct Mail, which is very useful if you're considering EDDM as part of your marketing plan.

How to use these plans

First off, we don't expect you to do every single thing on these plans. The idea is that you can view these plans as a menu of options that you can choose from to construct your marketing plan. Like courses of a meal, each tactical category is essential, so I do suggest you choose something from each category. You may settle on a program that includes EDDM plus a monthly e-newsletter, or perhaps traditional direct mail coupled with a mailed print newsletter, or perhaps you feel your sales presentation needed some work and you want to put a folder together. I suggest you review what you did for marketing this year and then choose tactics that fill in those gaps. It shouldn't be too tough, and we can help you...just ask.
