N.J. Green Expo slated for December

The annual conference will hold three days of educational seminars for the green industry.

The New Jersey GREEN EXPO Turf and Landscape Conference is scheduled for December 7-9.

The New Jersey Turfgrass Association and The Center for Turfgrass Science at Rutgers University will hold a science-based conference and show offering education, business, fellowship and environmental stewardship opportunities.

More than 40 sessions will be offered to deliver case studies, industry trends and "how to" applications and tactics. Sessions are designated for USGA Golf, sports fields and lawn and landscape. Some of the sessions include: "Pesticide Calibration: A review of the basics to help you run your operation safely and economically," "Risky Business" and "Management of cool-season turf during temperature and moisture extremes."

The GREEN EXPO will be held at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. Early registration for the expo ends November 17. To register, visit the New Jersey Turfgrass Association's website here.
