It’s that easy. After that, the controller will take over, applying just the right amount of water throughout the landscape.”
 
Installing the smart controller also opens the door to additional water-saving irrigation system retrofit opportunities, such as rotary nozzles, drip irrigation and rotors with integrated pressure regulation. “Customers who are open to the idea of water-efficient irrigation control are more likely to also embrace these other technologies,” Meza added. “If you’re going to use a smart controller, it just makes sense that your entire system should also use water as wisely as possible.”
