New England Silica has added John Houlihan to the position of outside sales. New England Silica is a distributor of concrete pavers, retaining walls, manufactured and natural stone veneers and more. Houlihan will be covering the New England and New York markets, providing sales and support for Silica’s many product lines.


Houlihan’s knowledge and experience comes from more than 25 years in the landscape and hardscape industries, with positions that have ranged from sales manager to business owner. “Since I’ve experienced the ups and downs of business ownership, with the years of selling and installing, I’ve been able to translate that into better relationships between myself and the contractors I deal with. My success has always been based on service,” said Houlihan.

Houlihan will also be concentrating on the expansion of Silica’s NESCO Consumer Products line. This includes bagged decorative stone, play sands, lawn and garden limestone, swimming pool filter sands, cobblestones, natural wall stones and accessories.
