PITTSBURGH – LTR Products has appointed Chris Hanson as account manager. In the role, Hanson will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s largest retail accounts.

He will also work directly with municipalities, parks and recreation professionals and businesses to determine how Pinnacle Rubber Mulch, which LTR manufactures, can offer an innovative, safe and cost-effective alternative to wood mulch when used for playground safety surfacing and landscaping applications. Additionally, Hanson will oversee a company-wide sales training program for Pinnacle Rubber Mulch, as well as new product development, marketing initiatives, and ASTM technical issue support.

“Chris has an extensive knowledge of retail account management and a background in the playground surfacing industry,” said Brad Pittam, general manager of LTR Products. “This experience, along with his superb business acumen, made him the ideal candidate for this position.”

Hanson previously worked as the sales manager for Advanced Ground Care Products, where he played a critical role in launching the company as a startup. Hanson received his Master of Business Administration from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northern Illinois University.
