Lake Mills, Iowa, landscape contractor named winner

Lawn & Landscape | November 2, 2009

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Toro has announced that Lucas Kreuscher, owner of Greens Keepers Lawn Care in Lake Mills, Iowa, has been named the winner of its Smooth Operator Video Challenge. Kreuscher's video highlighted the many ways the Toro GrandStand stand-on mower has helped smooth out his ride and his business.

"I was very excited to find out I was the winner," said Kreuscher. "Originally, I just wanted to make a video to go on our Web site, but then I heard about the Smooth Operator Video Challenge and decided to give that a try. I wasn't really expecting to win!"

The Smooth Operator Video Challenge gave contractors the opportunity to show how the new Z Master G3 and GrandStand mowers helped smooth their ride and their business by creating short video testimonials showcasing the equipment in action. The videos were required to specifically address at least two of the following criteria: hillside stability, close-trimming ability, maneuverability, handling on rough terrain and overall cutting performance and finished appearance. The videos were voted on by the public.

"We were very happy Kreuscher's video was chosen the winner of the video challenge," said Randy Harris, senior marketing manager for Toro's Landscape Contractor Equipment. "His video really illustrates what it takes to be a smooth operator and effectively demonstrates many of the features that set the GrandStand apart from its competition."

As the winner of Toro's video challenge, Kreuscher will receive a four-night stay at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, plus four Park Hopper passes and a special behind-the-scenes park tour with Disney's top landscape and horticulture specialists.
