Davey Tree hires Frank Molina as district manager

A native of Queens, New York, Molina joins Davey with nearly 25 years of green industry experience.

KENT, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has hired Frank Molina as district manager of Davey’s Long Island Residential/Commercial services office.

A native of Queens, New York, Molina joins Davey with nearly 25 years of experience in arboriculture, horticulture, grounds maintenance and facilities operations.

“Frank is an avid student and promoter of all things tree care and horticulture, a value shared by Davey and our clients,” said Phil Snyder, vice president, East Atlantic R/C operations. “Frank comes to Davey with an outstanding reputation of exceeding client expectations. I am excited for the leadership skills, and local and technical knowledge he’ll bring to the Davey team in New York.”

Before coming to Davey, Molina was employed in facilities management roles at The Rockefeller University and Columbia University in New York City. At Columbia he served as manager of landscape, directing and contracting work on the 35-acre urban campus.

Molina is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist, is ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ), a Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP), and he holds pesticide applicators licenses in both New York and New Jersey. Molina is bilingual in Spanish.

He is president of the Northeast New Jersey and New York City branch of the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS).
