SAN DIEGO – Lawn Love, a technology-driven lawn care marketplace, now services 100 cities across the U.S. With the company’s latest expansion, its service area spans 38 states and now covers over 80 percent of suburban households in the U.S.

The company also hired Ashvini Rao as COO. She previously served as director of operations at Handy Inc., a similar Uber-style marketplace for cleaning and handyman services. She will lead Lawn Love’s continued national expansion, while also helping it to double headcount over the next 12 months.

"We’ve seen incredible growth and momentum over the last three years, and we’re excited to hit this major milestone in our mission to revolutionize the lawn care market,” said Jeremy Yamaguchi, CEO at Lawn Love. “The demand from both customers and lawn pros has been truly extraordinary, and we’re proud of the work we’ve done to streamline our customer’s lives while helping our lawn care partners grow their businesses.”

The company expects to launch in five additional cities per month in 2018. Lawn Love has partnered with more than 2,500 independent lawn care companies to deliver services across the U.S.
