KENT, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has promoted Denise Danois-Triche to regional recruiting manager in the Midwest, as well as Anthony Williams to district manager in Kansas City and Ken Busse to district manager in Las Vegas, both in the Residential/Commercial (R/C) office.

In her new role, Danois-Triche will provide recruiting leadership in the Great Lakes and Chicago regions.

“Denise’s creative approach to selling Davey careers is one of her many strengths,” said Brigitte Orrick, director of recruiting and employee development. “She has a proven track record of being able to relate with candidates and connecting them to our company.”

Danois-Triche started with Davey in 2017 as a client experience coordinator in the West Chicago Residential/Commercial (R/C) office. She transferred to the South Chicago R/C office that same year. In 2018, she was promoted to recruiting coordinator for the Chicago area. Danois-Triche was promoted again in 2019 to supervisor of the recruiting hub in Chicago.

Williams started with Davey in 2004 as a trimmer trainee in the North Detroit R/C office. He was later promoted to Plant Health Care technician in the North Detroit R/C office. Williams transferred to the Charlotte R/C office in 2008. Williams was named a sales arborist in the East Cleveland R/C office in 2016.

Williams graduated in 2007 from the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences, which is Davey’s flagship training program in biological sciences, safety, tree and plant care and management techniques. He is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist and attended Oakland Community College for Agricultural Science Studies.

“I’m excited to have Anthony and his wide range of arboricultural knowledge in Kansas City,” said Gordon Matthews, market manager, Great Lakes Central Operating Group. “He will be a great resource for his employees, so they can provide superior services to our clients. I look forward to watching him excel in his new role.”

Meanwhile, Busse has over 30 years of experience in the green industry. He joined Davey in 2013 as a plant healthcare technician and was promoted to sales arborist in 2016 and assistant district manager in 2018.

“Ken is extremely hard working and has a wealth of green industry knowledge,” said Jason Evans, operations manager of Davey’s Western R/C Operations. “He truly cares about engaging with his team and his clients.”

Busse has lived in the Las Vegas area for much of his life and plans to utilize more opportunities for community engagement with current and prospective Davey clients, Evans said.

Busse is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist and is a Tree Care Industry Association Certified Treecare Safety Professional.

He holds an associate degree in business management from the College of Southern Nevada.
