FAIRFAX, Va. — The National Association of Landscape Professionals will hold its Legislative Days in Washington D.C. on February 15-16, when landscape and lawn care company owners and managers will come together.
Legislative Days includes networking events, briefings on the latest developments on key issues and group meetings with Congressional Offices.
Education sessions include briefings from D.C. insiders on issues including H-2B, pesticide policies, gas to battery-powered equipment transition and more. Attendees will receive training about how to talk about the issues with legislative offices, which helps not only at the federal level but also at the state and local levels in home districts. In addition, attendees will learn about NALP’s new digital advocacy platform Voices for Healthy Green Spaces, which all industry professionals are encouraged to join.

"It is important for legislative offices to hear from business owners and understand the challenges they face,” said Andrew Bray, NALP’s vice president of government affairs. “We encourage all landscape and lawn care professionals to be informed and participate in government affairs efforts because NALP can’t move the needle alone; industry voices are critical."
