Three members of the green industry were recently named the newest Proven Winners Certified Landscape Professionals by Proven Winners plant brand. They are Brian Sparks, owner and operator of Exterior Ground Management LLC; Dennis Evans, owner of Quiet Village Landscaping; and Sally Evans, owner of Hot House Digital Marketing.

The PWCLP program designates landscape industry professionals who have demonstrated expertise in the effective use of the Proven Winners plant brand. Meeting specific criteria, and selected from a submittal process, designees are professional experts with Proven Winners plants, enhancing their landscape projects with Proven Winners  plant varieties, and showcasing their use in landscape designs and projects.

Sparks was raised in East Lansing, Michigan, but he currently resides in the Franklin   area of Metro Detroit. Sparks has spent most of his adult career in the green industry. He studied landscape  management at MSU and had his internship at the Mott Estate in Flint, Mich. With 16 years of experience, he decided to start his own company, Exterior Grounds  Management LLC. EGM was founded with a family-orientated approach, focusing on higher-end residential clientele. He is looking to enter the commercial market shortly. Brian is a member of the NALP, MNLA and the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber.

Exterior Grounds Management LLC provides landscape maintenance including turf maintenance, landscape installs, and basic property maintenance. Enhancement options include anything from adding mulch to installing patios, fireplaces, new trees, shrubs and annual flowers.

Quiet Village Landscaping is a full-service custom landscape design and lawn care service company based in St Louis, Mo. Established in 2001 by Dennis Evans, Quiet Village has been providing St. Louis and the surrounding areas with landscape design, hardscape, maintenance, bed maintenance, and seasonal services.

Quiet Village services residential, commercial and municipal sites in the Greater St Louis area with superior landscape design and lawn care maintenance. Since its founding in 2001, the landscaping firm has earned one award after another for its t work enhancing metro area homes and breaking away from the “cookie-cutter yard."

The Quiet Village team works with clients to identify exactly what they’re looking for, from low- maintenance lawns to bountiful and beautiful gardens. Projects begin with a team of landscape designers, builders and gardeners who prioritize eco-friendly practices.

Working in green-industry marketing and communication for over a decade, Sally Evans manages a boutique marketing agency that works for landscaping professionals.

Hot House Digital shuns one-size-fits-all marketing packages in favor of custom-tailored plans with implementation to help landscapers reach their goals. Hot House Digital specializes  in omnichannel marketing, communication and design services for small/medium sized businesses. Essentials include website design, brand storytelling, marketing automations, email marketing, graphic design, paid ad management and online recruiting.

Hot House Digital manages clients’ website, social media platforms and reputation online.

Sally Evans also holds the position of marketing director for Quiet Village Landscaping.
