Bobcat S595

The pitch: The S595 skid-steer loader comes with a 74 horsepower, Tier 4 diesel engine.

  • A standard feature is two-speed travel, with a top speed of 11 mph., and operators can switch between travel speeds with the press of a button.
  • It features a pressurized cab with a one-piece seal that goes all the way around the door and fits into a special curved pocket.

The pitch: The SR240 features a maintenance-free particulate matter catalyst solution.

  • The SR240 is rated at 74 horsepower. This large-frame model delivers a torque of 232 ft. lb. and a bucket breakout force of up to 8,680 lbs.
  • It features an EZ-EH (electro-hydraulic) setup menu with nine adjustable speed and control sensitivity settings.
  • A large 25.5-gallon fuel tank allows the machine to operate for more than an entire shift without refueling.

Caterpillar 272D2

The pitch: The 272D2 skid-steer loader features a new engine-compartment sealing system for enhanced airflow debris control.

  • It features a vertical-lift loader linkage and uses a Cat C3.8 engine, meeting U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards.
  • It offers a battery disconnect option that allows the battery to be isolated for machine service, minimize battery drain during storage or for additional machine security.
  • Delivers an ROC rating of 3,400 lbs., at 50 percent of tipping capacity.

JCB 260 skid-steer

The pitch: JCB’s 260 skid-steer loader features the company’s single-arm PowerBoom design that allows for a side-entry door.

  • A vertical lift machine, it features an ROC of 2,600 pounds.
  • The 260 does not require a torque tube across its rear side, allowing for an unobstructed rear view and all-around visibility.
  • It features a multifunction joystick controls and an optional heated air-suspension seat with adjustable armrests.

    Kubota SSV-Series

    The pitch: Kubota's SSV-Series includes the 74 horsepower SSV75 (right).

    • Standard on all Kubota SSV models is a slide-up, front-entry door that rises overhead, instead of swinging out.
    • An optional multi-function lever feature is available, allowing for fingertip control of major machine and implement functions.
    • The SSV75 has a rated operating capacity of 2,690 lbs., and bucket breakout force of 5,884 lbs.

    John Deere 326E Skid-steer

    The pitch: The 74 horsepower, 326E skid-steer features a flat floor design with 25 percent more foot room than previous models.

    • Low-effort electro-hydraulic (EH) controls allow an easy switch to ISO, H-pattern or foot pedal controls for operation with the push of a button.
    • Automotive-style courtesy lighting enables lights to be preset to stay on for up to a 90-second interval before shutting down after the operator exits the machine.
    • The 326E’s engine is certified to EPA Final Tier 4 emissions standards and features automatic cleaning without impacting machine operation in most conditions.

    Takeuchi TS80V2

    The pitch: Takeuchi's TS80V2 skid-steer is a vertical loader with several new options including ride control, bucket positioning and high-flow auxiliary hydraulics

    • It features a 74 horsepower Final Tier 4 Deutz engine that delivers 192 ft. lb. of torque at 1,800 rpm.
    • It has an operating weight of 8,965 lbs., and a rated operating capacity of 3,500 lbs.
    • Bucket breakout forcel is 5,920 lbs., with a lift arm force of 6,200 lbs, and a maximum hinge pin height of 10 ft. 10 in.

    Terex R200S

    The pitch: The Terex R200S radial lift path skid-steer loader has a rated operating capacity of 2,000 lbs. at 50-percent tipping load (4,000 lb.).

    • The unit weighs in at 6,370 lbs. operating weight and achieves 116 in. of lift height, as well as nearly 22 in. of reach.
    • It comes equipped with a 60 horsepower Perkins diesel turbocharged engine and load sensing, variable flow hydraulics to provide 8,453 lbs. of tractive effort.
    • Attachments include auger, backhoe, rotary broom, general purpose bucket, light-material bucket, snow blower, stump grinder, trencher, vibratory roller and the Loegering Eliminator rake.
