HENDERSON, Nev. — Structure Studios has announced the release of Noah Nehlich’s first book, Design for Story: Create Immersive Outdoor Living Experiences. Focused on the needs of pool designers, landscapers and builders, Nehlich’s investigation examines how successful designers, artists, builders, salespeople and inventors leverage research-based storytelling techniques to connect with clients, build stronger relationships and sell more.
“Since we launched the first 3D design software for the pool and landscape industry 20 years ago, technology has improved by leaps and bounds,” said Nehlich, author and founder of Structure Studios, the 3D software design company that has developed software packages Vip3D, Pool Studio and VizTerra. “Now, clients expect more than just a beautiful design. They want reassurance that it’s the absolutely perfect choice for their family.”
In 2020, designers created for clients 1.8 million outdoor living projects with Vip3D, Pool Studio and VizTerra. Understanding the vital need to create designs that both stand out and connect with clients in the face of such high demand, Nehlich offers advice backed by 20 years of experience in the industry.
“It’s not the concrete or the water that engages your clients,” Nehlich said. “Designers need to create an emotional connection. Sales tips always tell you to focus on the benefits, not just list the features. But when you’re a busy designer or builder, it can be hard to find the time to figure out how to do that. This book shows you how.”
Design for Story: Create Immersive Outdoor Living Experiences is available now on Amazon as a paperback, hardcover and Kindle edition.
